A poem on
the woman at the well |
| We received this poem from a frequent
visitor here, the Rev. Bobbie McGarey, Duncan, Oklahoma. We're
happy to share it, and we thank her for what she shares with all of us.

The woman at the well ... and
worthiness
The woman came to the well at noon
A special well known to all
And there was Jesus
Who not only spoke to her
but offered her living water.
Was she Worthy?
And she - another nameless woman - because of God's grace and mercy
Was reborn
Baptized in Jesus love
And went to tell everyone ... and they came out the whole town ...
everyone ... and discovered for themselves this love ...
Was she worthy?
did she repent
was she in compliance ...
God knows ... and that's enough.
